Initial ideas

My initial ideas began with me deciding what type of music i wanted to use, and the overall look i wanted to go for. I decided i want my video to be pop, and for it to follow a bright colourful scheme. I wanted to find a song that was upbeat and that would contrast with the ideas i had for my video. After searching through a number of unsigned artists i finally chose the artist and song i was going to use for my music video by an artist called Jennifer Raffety and the song 'Redlight'

For the video i have a had numerous ideas, to fulfill the genre 'pop' and appeal to my target audience, when my artist is filmed in the studio i wanted her to have bright big costumes, for example lady gaga, big hair and large extravvagent make - up. As well as filming in the studio, i have chosen to film in blackpool, on the rides, the nightlife and the beach, without revealing that the place we're in is blackpool.
I would also like some kind of party or club scene if possible, with flashing red lights to contrast with the title and relate to the lyrics.
