Audience feedback questionnaire

For my audience feedback I let eight people watch my music video - Redlight, and showed them both of my ancillary tasks, my magazine advert and my didgi pack.
I gave them this questionnaire to fill in afterwards:

Video Questionnaire

1)     What appeals to you about my music video?

2)     Do you like the type of music?

3)     What stands out the most about my video?

4)     Is there an obvious genre?

5)     Does my poster, albulm cover and video all match the same kind of theme?

6)     If so, why?

7)     What stands out about my poster and albulm cover?

8)     If there was anything you would do differently, what would you do to improve?

After they filled in the questionnaire the overall results i got were positive.
I found the majority of my audience found the fast cut editing to the up beat music, and the various effects i had put in, appealing.
Most girls prefferred the type of music which was appropriate as my target audience was aimed at girls.
I discovered that the thing that stood out to them most was the contrast of bright colours, and also the artist, who i carefully chose to suit the genre.
I was also pleased with the genre was clear to the audience, as they all knew it was pop!
The audience also agreed that my poster albulm cover and music video all followed the same sort of theme, words used were 'girly' 'colouful' and 'creative'.
T   The things that stood out to the audience most about my poster and abulm cover, was the bright colours and unique look of my pop artist.
Finally, my audience decided that to improve my video they would make the song longer or perhaps choose a different song as it became quite repetitive to listen to.

filming in the studio

filming and editing so far

I cut down the material i had filimed in Blackpool, mostly with shots of sarah on the beach and with teh sunny backgroud.
Additionally, i have since filmed sarah in the studio using props such as balloons, rainbow drops and cupcakes all to add fun to the video and brightness. I have used many up close, medium and long shots of the artist in different poses and from diffferent angles to create a variation when the clips are chopping from one to the other to the beat of the song. To make the video more intersting i have edited almost every clip, adding effects and changing the colour etc to create a more fun realistic looking 'pop' video.
Now, i have just under a minute left to film before my video will finally be complete. I have decided i want to film her on a trampoline with a lollipop, due to transport problems getting back to balckpool and then also film her behind the green screen in the studio, lipsinking so i am able to add more colour to the video by changing the colour of the background.
